Food4Macc Allotments The Springfield Road and Birtles Road allotment sites were transferred from Cheshire East to Macc Town Council this week. Moss Lane, Byrons Lane/Laburnum Ave, and Park Grove transfers are ‘imminent’. Brookfield Road is held up by a boundary dispute. South Park allotments have been found to belong to Peaks & Plains. (to everyone’s surprise – including Peaks & Plains!) There will be greater use of delegated Allotment Societies to manage the sites.
