Consider: Who is your “larger-than-life” hero? What makes a hero a hero? You must make your tall tale character a hero, even if you don’t believe he or she was actually one. Consider: How can you include “hyperbole” in your story? Consider: Is it fictional/tall tale-y (ridiculous and silly) enough?
