1 Modified Arthroscopic Latarjet Procedure With Coracoid Exteriorization for Treatment of Anterior Glenohumeral Instability  Juha O. Ranne, M.D., Terho U. Kainonen, M.D., Janne T. Lehtinen, M.D., Olli J. Heinonen, M.D.  Arthroscopy Techniques  Volume 2, Issue 4, Pages e361-e365 (November 2013) DOI: /j.eats Copyright © 2013 Arthroscopy Association of North America Terms and Conditions

2 Fig 1 The 2-component Coracoid Transfer Instrument (Acierart) (1) is designed to transfer the coracoid through the subscapularis split and fix it to the glenoid edge. A simple hook (2) is used to open the subscapularis split. The Coracoid Drill Guide (3) is used to shape and size the coracoid and make 2 drill holes (4 mm) in the coracoid. 3 Fig 2 The osteotomized coracoid is exteriorized through the anteroinferior portal and shaped with the Coracoid Drill Guide and oscillating saw (right shoulder, beach-chair position). 4 Fig 3 The coracoid bone block is attached to the Coracoid Transfer Instrument (Acierart) and secured with a No. 2 FiberStick suture for subsequent insertion through the split in the subscapularis tendon (right shoulder, beach-chair position). 5 Fig 4 The coracoid is fixed to the anterior glenoid bone with self-drilling 3.75-mm cannulated titanium screws (right shoulder, beach-chair position). Arthroscopy Techniques 2013 2, e361-e365DOI: ( /j.eats ) Copyright © 2013 Arthroscopy Association of North America Terms and Conditions

6 Fig 5 The coracoid transfer is fixed at the glenoid edge (right shoulder, beach-chair position, lateral viewing portal). (A) The Wedge Profile Plate may be used instead of washers. (B) Postoperative radiograph. Arthroscopy Techniques 2013 2, e361-e365DOI: ( /j.eats ) Copyright © 2013 Arthroscopy Association of North America Terms and Conditions
