Status of SDGs Domestication in Tanzania The Government in collaboration with key stakeholders has done a great work in domestication of SDGs since, 2015 including the following; Communication and Advocacy Workshops SDGs Data Road Map Steering Committee Capacity Building Workshops at the LGAs, MoF SDGs and FYDP II Data Gaps Assessment Priority activities and Est. Budget for , 2017/18 Review and plan for the next phase of NSDS-TSMP Plan Develop SDG, FYDP II, AU, 2063, EAC Vision, 2050 Data Visualization platform ….

Status of SDGs Domestication in Tanzania Communication and Advocacy Workshops Two National Workshops conducted:- Awareness Creation, Creating ownership of the SDGs Build partnerships with stakeholders Policy integration Plan for National Data Roadmap dev. Participants: The Government, Civil Society Organizations , Academic Institutions, Research Institutions, Private Sector, Development Partners and other international collaborators

Status of SDGs Domestication in Tanzania SDGs and FYDP II Data Gaps Assessment A tool to help plan for data demand for monitoring country development priorities; eg. Tanzania Vision 2015, FYDP II Capable of conducting data gap assessment in different variables such as frequency, data disaggregation, methodology, sources for achieving data revolution Cost estimation in implementing data collection activities an innovative planning tool for integrating the national planning agenda into the NSDS (TSMP) and account for global priorities such as the SDGs

Populate ADAPT with FYDP II indicators (282 Indicators) Enter Metadata for indicators compiled by NBS Develop & enter metadata for FYDP II indicators compiled by MDAs Mapping of the FYDP II indicators with SDGs & localization of the SDGs Thematic workshop to fill the identified data gaps & metadata Status of SDGs Domestication in Tanzania SDGs and FYDP II Data Gaps Assessment
