2. What do we mean by “CYBERCRIME”?
Normal people:
Online scams
Identity theft
Paedophiles
The wide policing family:
Technological wizardry
What I actually do:
Specialist investigation of a narrowly defined type of crime
Computer Misuse Act 1990
All crimes are recorded at Action Fraud – reports from these victims are shared with each force on a spreadsheet.
Reports on that spreadsheet do not necessarily appear anywhere else in force records.

4. There is a simple offence that is made out, and that S has admitted
Victim (V) made a report to Action Fraud on 18th September 2018 – correct place to report what he was a victim of
The allegation of his facebook being "hacked" was made due to suspect (S) identifying she had negated the facebook login process and seen his DM''s etc. Rachel claimed this was done by identifying his login name and number only. Rachel does not have a computer/IT background and found this unlikely she had such abilities.
This wasn't transferred to the Police until the 10th October 2018.
Local Police Systems show X has not made direct contact with Police during the period of the last 3 months
S HAS PREVIOUSLY SUFFERED WITH MENTAL HEALTH: PREVIOSULY SECTIONED - CURRENTLY UNDER MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.
S REGULARLY LOOKS AFTER THEIR SMALL CHILD
CONCERNS ARE REGARDING S STRUGGLING WITH V MOVING ON WITH HIS NEW RELATIONSHIP.
