Points P A point has position but no size.
A capital letter (e.g. P) is used to name a point. Collinear points lie on the same line. C B A End of Slide

Lines Line c A B A line has an infinite number of points.
It goes forever in both directions. It is named by two points in upper case. (e.g. AB) It may also be named with a single lower case letter (e.g. c) End of Slide

Lines 2. Interval M B A An interval is a part of a line.
It has a definite start and an end. It is named by its end points. (e.g. AB) The midpoint (M) lies halfway between the end points. End of Slide

Lines 3. Ray B A A ray is a part of a line.
It goes forever in one direction. It has a start point but no end point. It is named by an end point and another point using upper case letters. (e.g. AB) End of Slide

Three or more lines intersect at the same point.
