NURSERY IS AVAILABLE To find our nursery, go through the curtains to the right of the sanctuary, down the hall to the end, turn left. We welcome children ages infant up to kindergarten. Our nursery is supervised by adults with approved background clearances. Most children wait until after the children’s message to go to the nursery. If you wish to keep your children with you during the worship service, have no worries! Children are a blessing! For nursing mothers, there is a cry room in the vestibule at the back of the sanctuary for privacy. The cry room is equipped with a changing table, a rocking chair, and other necessities.

Helping Hands WPC is proud to support Helping Hands Food Pantry, a community outreach food pantry. Check out their Facebook page! Helping Hands survives solely on donations. Besides monetary donations, Helping Hands will accept food items, coupons, and perishable items as well. They will gladly accept any food donation you'd like to donate. Donations are accepted now at their Main Street location. They can always use cans of tuna and/or mac & cheese AND right now they are looking for canned fruit and vegetables! Add these to our shopping cart in the front hall during October. Phone:

Financial Information
Your Weekly Love will now include financial data to make our congregation aware of income, as it applies to giving. Each month as the new financial reports come out, we will share our status on regular giving, which you will find in the "Information" section. Please be mindful of fulfilling your pledge. As of August 31, 2017, we have received $65, of the budgeted $114,899, which is 56.96% -- there are 3 months left to get to 100%.

Thanksgiving Dinner and Service
Dinner: Once again Karen Bond will carry on the tradition started by her mom & dad – Doris & Howard Bond – and host our the annual Thanksgiving Dinner immediately after worship at WPC on November 19. There is always plenty of turkey and gravy, stuffing and potatoes and everyone is invited! The website will have sign- ups for help and certain food items, otherwise bring a favorite dish to go with turkey. Service: Plan to attend this annual service on the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving at 7 P.M. Our host for this year’s service will be Our Lady of Perpetual Help (the Wyalusing Catholic Church). Clergy leading the service will be the Rev. Joseph Manarchuck, the Rev. Heather Baker-McAllister and the Rev. Dr. Barry Ballard. Let the whole town give thanks for another year together.

NOISY CAN OFFERING The NOISY CAN OFFERING will go to David Howard & family, who are Wycliffe Bible translators. Today about 200 million people do not have the Bible in their own language. Wycliffe's vision is to see the Bible accessible to all people in the language they understand best. To make this vision a reality, Wycliffe also focuses on literacy development, community development and church partnerships. Just a reminder: All donations made by WPC will be doubled.
