The evolutionary conservation of the phosphoproteomes.a, E. coli. b, B. subtilis.
The evolutionary conservation of the phosphoproteomes.a, E. coli. b, B. subtilis. Protein databases of 9 archaeal, 53 bacterial, and 8 eukaryotic species were used to perform the evolutionary analysis. The conservation is reported as an average conservation of the phosphoproteome in all tested species from each domain. Boris Macek et al.
