1. The Write Tools (Highlighting/Annotating)- Bicycle Safety
In cooperative/collaborative groups, to aid in their close reading, student will share and discuss their personal annotations on the text “Bicycle Safety”.
Follow the directions below to complete the activity.
Get into assigned cooperative/collaborative groups.
Using the Highlighting Rules/ Codes for Annotating, highlight and annotate the article, Bicycle Safety.
Using the iPad app called Corkulous, post a sticky note sharing with your group one of your annotation explanations.
Then, respond to another group member’s stick note using an arrow note. Be sure to include any textual evidence or clues that support your opinions.
Pass the iPad to next group member.
