Heatmaps were generated using Heatsequer, identifying OTUs that differ between IL-1α and WT mice by abundance rank, occurrence, mean abundance, or frequency when present. Abundances of these differential OTUs in all groups are presented before DSS treatment (day 0) (A), after 7 days of DSS (day 8) (B), and after 7 days of recovery (day 14) (C). See Tables S1 and S2 in the supplemental material for taxonomic ranks for panels A and B.
