What is Motion? Motion is when an object changes position.
When an object goes from one place to another, it has moved.

Things to think about: Motion has a direction. (up, down, right, left, north, south, backwards, towards, etc.) The rate of motion can be measured. (speed, acceleration)

Motion Slides In the slides that follow, objects will be shown at different times. Your goal is to figure out: What’s moving and what isn’t? How can you describe the motion?
