4 Homework Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday 15 minutes reading Practise tables Practise spellings Homework Book returned to school. Spelling test Times tables test  New spellings given out & homework given out (Mathletics or mental maths books will also be used periodically.) Times tables and related facts Please set aside time to support your child with their homework and ensure it’s quality and accuracy.

5 What you need: Water bottle Well-stocked pencil case
PE kit-note colours Swimming kit School shoes every day Contact book every day-initialled when reading. Signed weekly by an adult please Reading book A coat when cold or wet Permission slips and money to be given to class teacher as soon as possible

7 Assessment Age expectations-emerging, expected (met) or exceeding (working at greater depth) will be reported annually and officially assessed in year 2 and 6 Parent consultations will report next step targets Online database used by teachers to plan objectives and to assess on a weekly basis after lessons. This is then used to inform tracking of progress and target setting.
