3. How Do We See Opaque Objects?
Light enters the eye and is decoded by the brain.
Light is reflected by the opaque object.
Light is emitted from the light source.

4. How Does This Differ For Transparent Objects?
Light passes through the transparent object
No light is reflected from the transparent object into the eye so we don’t see it.
Light is emitted from the light source.

5. What AboutTranslucent Objects?
Some light passes through the translucent object, while some light is reflected.
Some light is reflected from the translucent object into the eye so we see it faintly.
Light is emitted from the light source.

6. What Happens If There Is No Light?
Look through the spy hole into the sealed dark box. Can you see anything?

7. What Was In The Box? Why couldn’t we see the object?
Remember, it is the light that enters our eye, so without light we cannot see objects.
