2. Welcome back to school for the Autumn 2 term.
We have lots of exciting work for the children in 2O .

3. we love stories and reading in 2O,
We like to read in groups taking turns to explore our stories. We read lots of book and magazines and we are starting to look at online stories too.
But we also like reading 1 to 1 to help us new sounds and words.
It is good to read every day and would appreciate it if you could read with your children at home. Your child now has a reading record for staff and parents to add any comments.

4. In Maths this half term we are working on solving maths problems
In Maths this half term we are working on solving maths problems. We will be looking at patterns and comparing the size of objects.
We will also be working on number, geometry and measurement targets within our number lessons.

Homework-the children have a orange book which has homework in. It goes home on Fridays and needs to come back into school for the following Friday.

8. Our outdoor learning is Winter walks so we are looking to visit different environments. Borsdane Woods and Haigh Hall are our potential trips out this term.
