SB #32: Read the article on “How to Create Motion Blur” and answer the following: What 3 variables are there in determining your shutter speed to create motion blur in your photograph? What may happen if you do not use a tripod with slow shutter speeds? How can you make sure your photograph is not overexposed when using a slow shutter speed? What do you have to do to the aperture? How should you compensate for overexposure with the ISO? What ISO is best? What is a ND filter? What does it do? What could you use if you don’t have a ND filter to achieve a similar effect?

SB #33: Review the Motion Blur Examples on today’s calendar. Choose one photo you like and draw a small thumbnail sketch of it or describe it in detail. What kind of motion blur technique does it use? Why do you like this photo? Why is it interesting? Explain How could you create a photo like this? What would be your subject? What action would the subject be doing? What shutter speed would you need?
