Proximity to an industrial hub: Monastir region is a traditional cluster for Textile and Clothing sector in Tunisia
Approximately 40% of T & C companies in Tunisia chose the region of Monastir (with more than 35 nationalities and international brands ).

5. 3- neotex monastir technopark : TEXTILE hub valley
Establishment of a Neotex Technopark in Monastir region in order to :
Promote textile value added activities (i.e: technical textile, new fibers and materials, fashion, design, logistics, ITC technologies…)
Reinforce the integration of the local textile value chain by developing finishing and dyeing activities
Boost cluster initiatives, develop skills and enhance collaboration between research and industry

Organization of more then 30 Market / Technology workshops ,and Training days ( two event per trimester ) .
Support of 4 projects Spin off ( assistance from R&D stage o industrial implementation)
 Set up of 3 R & D national project and partnership with 3 relevant International projects:
 TEXTECHMed ( June 2010 , 12 months, 200 K € funded by Invest in Med , Mediterranean platform of technical textiles )
 SUSTEXNET (January months , 1.3 k€ , ENPI CBCMED ),
TEXMED Clusters ( Dec 2013, 24 months , 2000 k € )

Publication of Technical Textile directory (160 )Cs, the Set up of Tunisia Technical Textile Cluster

Establishment of a web platform for watch and economic intelligence in T&C Field
