Figure 1 The patient sustained second and third-degree burns across the anterior aspect of the face (A, B). The wounds were dressed with silvadene with the plan for re-evaluation of the flap and possible debridement of any compromised tissue. Figure 2 The patient suffered second degree burns over the left nasal ala, left lateral wall, and left midface as well as first degree burns over the forehead (A, B). Although the forehead flap survived, complete nasal reconstruction was further delayed.
