3 Actuarial survival after MV repair
Actuarial survival after MV repair. Kaplan–Meier estimate of survival for patients who underwent isolated MV repair or MV repair with concomitant CABG and/or aortic/tricuspid valve surgery. Survival estimates are reported as the mean ± 1 standard error. The actuarial survival probability at 4 years was 91% ± 4% for patients who underwent isolated MV repair and 87% ± 2.5% for patients who underwent a combined procedure. MV, Mitral valve. 4 Freedom from MV-related reoperation
Freedom from MV-related reoperation. Kaplan–Meier estimate of freedom from reoperation for patients who underwent isolated MV repair or MV repair with concomitant CABG and/or aortic/tricuspid valve surgery. Freedom from MV-related reoperation at 4 years was 97% ± 1.2% for isolated MV repair and 97% ± 1.3% for combined procedures. Estimates of freedom from reoperation are reported as the mean ± 1 standard error. MV, Mitral valve. 5 Freedom from severe MVR
Freedom from severe MVR. Kaplan–Meier estimate of freedom from severe MVR. Freedom from severe MVR 4 years after MV repair was 79.3% ± 10% (mean ± 1 standard error).
