1. Development Directory 1 Page Guide
To access the Development Directory navigate to the Academy Central intranet page and click on the link for Skills Profiler on the right hand side under “assess your skills”.
The Skills Profiler and Development Directory page will load with details of the application. Click Start to start Profiling.
Click on the role that you want to view the Development Directory for and select the skills which you wish to add to your development plan. Click Generate Report to create the report.
The skills which you have selected are pulled into a development report showing details of what the requirement is for each skill and the actions which you can take to develop. There is a section for Self-Development, Experience & Coaching and Training. Scroll down the page to see all of the details.
To create a development plan select the level in the skill that you need to develop. The level will show as selected. The level and all preceding levels will be included in the plan. To create the plan click the Create Development Plan button.
If you wish to save your development report you can do this by clicking on the Download as PDF button.
On the left hand side of the screen you will see an option to filter by type. Make sure that View Development Directory is selected. You will then need to filter by Department to find your role.
