Students should use the Holt, Elements of Literature (purple books in the back) and complete the following on a sheet of notebook paper: Students should review how to evaluate informational texts by reading about evaluating arguments on pgs. 516 and Then, they are to read, Rising Tides on pg. 518 to 520 and An Artic Floe of Climate Questions on pgs. 521 top 522. On the notebook paper, they are to complete the Reading Check 1 – 4 on pg. 523 and the 7 Test Practice Questions on pgs Finally, they should complete the Constructed Response question on pg Remind student that a constructed response should not be a sentence or two, but a well constructed paragraph.
