TVAAS Methodology
One variation of the value-added approach projects test scores for individual students and then compares the test scores they actually receive at the end of the school year to those projections. Scores that exceed the projected values provide evidence that the instruction provided during the school year was highly effective; scores that are mostly below projected values suggest that the instruction was ineffective
