2. Newton’s Third Law of Motion
The Law of Action and Reaction
For every force applied by object A to object B (the action force), there is an equal but opposite force exerted by object B to object A (the reaction force).

3. Forces occur in pairs.
For every interaction between masses, forces always occur in pairs and are equal and opposite.
To clarify, if the forces are equal and opposite, why do they not cancel out?
