According to WIPO, the PCT applications filed from China soared from 7,900 in 2009 to 12,339 in 2010, up 56.2%;

6. Achieved Results from China's IPR Protection Work
According to China‘s State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), since the launch of the Special Action, the total number of resolved patent disputes in the following 2 months increased by more than 70 percent, and the market environment has also been improved. In addition to launching the Special Action, the newly revised “Measures on Patent Administrative Law Enforcement " has come into force since February 1st, 2011.
