I hope your child agrees that third grade is off to a gatorific start. We will continue building our classroom community, as we get to know our classmates and make connections with others.
We will move into some academic activities, which will include initial assessments so that I am aware of where to best meet each student instructionally.
We will begin our first units in math and social studies, with place value and government / citizenship. For reading, we will continue to use picture books that match our character building, while also learning about story elements.
