Remembering God And His Works
Far too many forget about the one Who created us & redeemed us We can forget God! We forget we are His children, fail to recall what He has promised to do for us. Try to overcome temptations by our own strength. – Rely on worldly wisdom!

The Result Of Forgetting God
Cannot survive without God – Job 8: Forgetting God is the road to Hell – Psalm 9:17 We may forget God – but God will not forget us – Isaiah 49:14-16 “…If I forget Thee, do not forget me.”

Need To Consciously Include God In All We Do And Say
Hebrews 13:15,16 “…giving thanks to His name. 16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Hebrews 13:5 “…For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Everything God promised came to pass- Joshua 23:14 Some rely on their own resources, but we rely upon God – Psalm 20:7 Daily blessings daily reminders of God Taking God’s goodness for granted? Why not thank Him for those blessings?

Proverbs 4:4,5 Proverbs 3:1 Acts 20:35 “remember the words of the Lord Jesus…” Jude 17 “remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles…”

Israel Destroyed by lack of knowledge- Hosea 4:6 It brings the hearer blessings – James 1:23-25 David says he will not forget God’s Laws in Psalm 119:16,93,11

2 Peter 1:15 – to remind us Deuteronomy 8:11 – If we don’t keep God’s commands, we will forget James 1:25 – Must be a doer of what we learn

Not every great deed remembered – Ecclesiastes 914,15 Wicked tend to forget past kindnesses- 2 Chronicles 24:17-22 Genesis 40:14,15, 23; 41:9 Need to remember the kindness of others – Luke 17:15-19

The poor – Galatians 2:10 The Stranger – Hebrews 13:2 Job 19:13,14 Hebrews 13:16 Need to do good – Galatians 6:10 Christ’s love grows that love might spread to those without- Hebrews 6:10

2 Peter 1:5-8 – needed virtues What if we do not grow – 2 Peter 1:9 Need to continually remind ourselves to live the life of a Christian – 2 Peter 1:10,11 Do this in remembrance of Me – 1Corinthians 11:24,25
