AIMS360 was founded by industry experts who saw the need for an enterprise resource planning (ERP) management system that could help apparel businesses of any size to manage their entire process. To deliver an end-to-end solution, they needed a platform that could be implemented at low cost while still being readily available to handle the multiple processing needs.
SOLUTION:
AIMS360 uses Azure IaaS, Windows virtual machines, and Windows Azure SQL Database. It supports a Windows WPF client user interface as well as an iOS user interface. AIMS360 uses Windows Azure Virtual Server to quickly deploy RD Session Host environment across the globe, while maintaining security, redundancy, and speed at the same time. Using multiple VMs, AIMS360 has deployed machines in different geographical locations for its customers. Using Windows Azure Storage with geo-replication, AIMS360 is able to keep additional copies of its data in different geo-locations for redundancy and failover.
