FOIL (First, Outer, Inner, Last)
- Used for multiplying binomials
Multiply together the first terms in each set of parenthesis
Multiply together the outer terms in each set of parenthesis
Multiply together the inner terms in each set of parenthesis
Multiply together the last terms in each set of parenthesis
Combine like terms
