Information While riding in an open limousine in downtown Dallas, President Kennedy was shot in the brain by a concealed shooter and died within seconds. The alleged assassin was Lee Harvey Oswald who was shot by a club owner, Jack Ruby, and died on national television. No elaborate official investigation conducted could not fully quiet the doubts and theories of whatever happened.

Information 2 Following the assassination, Vice President Johnson was sworn in on an airplane and flew back to Washington Johnson was able to retain the majority of Kennedy’s team Johnson managed with a dignified and efficient transition, pledging continuity despite losing the nation’s leader.

Kennedy was remembered by his vigor, charisma, and idealism despite allegations about his involvement with organized crime or womanizing people. Many were unaware of how enamored they were with the former President.
