Gladly surrendered for inheritance in Christ
The Power of Faith
Trust God & willing to sacrifice temporary pleasures for present fellowship with God & future blessings in Him

4. GOD HAS CHOSEN TO ADOPT US!
What will you take for your inheritance? Matthew 16:26
Many today like Esau – Hebrews 12:16,17
Human relationships cause many to give up gospel to accommodate religions of men- Galatians 1:6
How many now apologizing for their former stand for the Lord? – Hebrews 10:28,29

5. SONSHIP HAS ITS RESPONSIBILIES
By faith baptized into Christ, now heirs – Galatians 3:26-29
In “New Birth” we have died & are raised to a “New Life” – Colossians 3:1-3,10
A worldly person wearing the mask of a Christian will be miserable. They will view correction as “bashing” and “hating.”

6. DISCENMENT -A WAY FOR SON OF GOD
Application of God’s way – Ephesians 5:3-8
Not afraid to have teachings, practices, language & thoughts challenged
Stand we take on doctrinal & moral issues & those who we fellowship will be hated by the worldly
Whose son are you?

7. GOD MOLDS & NOURISHES HIS SONS
God makes provisions to constantly change you- Hebrews 12:5-11
Change is not easy
Suffering, rebuke & even doubt can be tools God uses to mold us
What is your attitude towards correction God’s word gives? John 3:19-21

8. INSIST ON WILL OF GOD WITHOUT COMPROMISE OR CHANGE
Jesus pointed out this attitude – John 8:28,29
Sons of God will insist on book, chapter & verse for their teaching & practice in order to glorify God – 1 Peter 4:11
Do you want to be led by the Spirit of God or by “great men?” – Romans 8:14-17

9. INSIST ON WILL OF GOD WITHOUT COMPROMISE OR CHANGE
God will allow us to be tested – 1 Peter 1:6,7; James 1:2,3
Do you remember a significant crossroads in your life?
Churches are faced with issues they must face and take a stand – 2 Corinthians 2:9
As parents we must act wisely when our children are tested

10. GOD GIVES US A GLIMPSE OF OUR INHERITANCE
Develop hope – Romans 5:3-5
Hope is based on the certain promises of God
Living faith does not lead to “the imputation of life of Christ” or “continuous cleansing”
Assurance based on promises & character of the God Who gave them- Hebrews 6:17-19
How do we view getting closer to other Christians? – Hebrews 10:23-25

11. GOD GIVES US A GLIMPSE OF OUR INHERITANCE
We are the family of God, joint heirs – Ephesians 3:6
Marry an heir of God – 1 Peter 3:7
Present relationship with God a taste of our inheritance – 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
When we see the unseen, have abundant life – John 10:10
