2 Figure 1 Infliximab levels over time. Initial maternal and child serum infliximab levels were measured 6 weeks after delivery. Breast-feeding was transiently discontinued at week 7, and the newborn’s drug levels decreased during the following weeks. The mother was again treated with 10 mg/kg of infliximab at week 10 because of a flare of her CD. Despite resumption of breast-feeding at that point, infliximab levels in her child continued to drop, albeit very slowly over time.
