Figure 1 Classification of conditioning regimens in 3 categories, based on duration of pancytopenia and requirement for stem cell support. Myeloablative fregimens (MA) produce irreversible pancytopenia and require stem cell support. Non myeloablative regimens (NMA) produce minimal cytopenia and does not require stem cell support.
