2. Toronto Maple Leafs
Description: A blue maple leaf with the the team name inside.
History:The Toronto Maple Leafs logo went through 4 major stages.the original had the letter T on a shield.the second stage was in 1919 the logo was changed to green on a white pill shape.the team name was the Toronto St Pats.
The third change was in 1927 they changed the name of the hockey team to the Toronto Maple Leafs and a new logo,47 point leaf shape.the fourth change was in 1966 the leaf was changed to an 11 point leaf similar to the Canada flag to celebrate the Canadian Centennial.

4. Pittsburgh Penguins
Description: It's a black penguin playing hockey and a upside down silver
triangle behind.
History: The Penguin logo came from the original proposed Black and White team colours, which made the players look like skating Penguins. The first penguin logo, in 1967, had a scarf and looked more like a figure skater than a hockey player. The Penguins opened the season with a new logo. The scarf was removed from the ‘67 logo. The penguin was made meaner looking with an eye that looked more determined. The skating Penguin crest was basically the same design through 1992 when a change occurred and then reversed in 2001.

History: The Boston logo represents Boston’s place as a hub of America. Like the center of a wheel, where all the spokes connect.

8. NEW YORK RANGERS
Description: It says New York Rangers on it and there's a red triangle on the right and a white triangle on the left.
History: The Rangers initially owned by the president of Madison Square Garden, had their logo designed to be different from their rival New York Americans, who’d began playing at the famous arena one year earlier. Whereas the Americans’ logo spelled out their name horizontally, The Rangers would begin their existence by spelling out their team name diagonally.

10. LOS ANGELES KINGS
Description: There is a crown on the bottom and on the top is the team name.
History: Los Angeles is the only city in the world that is known as much for its initials as it is it's actual name, so why not add it to a logo. On Nov. 22, 2008 the Los Angeles Kings went "Back in Black" at STAPLES Center, in front of a sellout crowd of 18,118 fans unveiling their new logo and uniforms. The Kings have had a total of 7 different logos over their history.
