What are some things that you notice, what are some things that you wonder? Mrs. Sampson, Ms. Bay-Chaparro and Mrs. Smith wanted to go to the store to buy supplies for an end of year party. Mrs. Sampson wanted to get a certain number of ice cream cups, but Mrs. Smith wanted to make that number a certain number of times larger. Ms. Bay-Chaparro suggested buying a certain number of times smaller than Ms. Smith’s suggestion.

4 Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to the language domains of listening, speaking, and writing. They will be able to listen to their classmates give their presentation, write down notes on their rubric, and speak during their group’s presentation. They will show their understanding by giving their presentation with at least 80% accuracy. 5 Developing a Statistical Project (as a review)
Over the past few days, you have been working in a small group to apply the skills you have learned from statistics to create and implement your own statistical project. Your group will: Create a statistical question. Determine a data collection tool. Gather the data using the collection tool from at least 50 students. Organize the data you have collected and graph the data in at least 2 different ways. Utilize the graphs to answer your statistical question. Create a visual (poster) that includes your statistical question, graphs, measures of center and variability (mean, median, mode, MAD, range) Prepare a presentation
