2. Emergency Notification Actions
Mass notification system is designed to be activated
to alert Valero employees of a plant emergency
Neighbors may hear alarms as well and will be alerted by
Reverse Alert or info line with information and possible
actions or response.
The mass notification system will be activated for Level 2 & 3 emergencies
Level 2 – Affecting in plant units only
Level 3 – Potential outside the fence line impact

3. Emergency Tone
Currently our mass notification system is comprised two separate tones
Emergency Tone – Described as Hi-Lo tone
