The Flaring Problem Utilization Possibilities
108 billion cubic meters of associated gas are flared and vented annually. This contributes to global emissions of 300 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2e) Options for flaring reduction: Gas reinjection Commercial use (liquefaction) On-site power generation. 108 billion cubic meter associated gas are equal to 125,000 MW of gas power p.a.
