If you have an “A” at the end of the semester, you are exempt from taking the final
If you have the highest grade in the class at the end of the semester, you will be invited to a pizza/award party

7. Course Requirements
Consequence for being unprepared: Lower grade and lower work habits/citizenship

8. ABSENCES
Unexcused – zeroes for all work missed (including tests & major projects)
Excused – see Ms. B (before or after school) within 3 days of return to get what was missed/schedule make-ups

9. GRADES Tests/Quizzes – 40% Writing/Projects – 30%
Standards Practice – 20%
Work Habits/Citizenship – 10%

10. SUPPLIES Textbook Paper (white, loose-leaf)
Pens (blue or black and red)
#2 pencils (at least 2 with erasers)
Dry erase marker
Composition notebook

11. EXTRA GUIDELINES
Each assignment must be labeled with your name, the date and the class period (upper right corner)
Think before you speak. Be an active listener.
