Why Assure that students ARE MEETING THE UNIVERSITY GOAL OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION Assure that Current Enrollment Program students are developing equivalent composition skill sets to their on-campus cohorts ASSURE THAT STUDENTS ACHIEVE A SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION IN COMMUNICATION SKILL SETS FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL TO THE COLLEGIATE RHETORICAL ENVIRONMENT.

When Artifacts will be gathered from the assessment repository at the end of the 2018 spring term Artifacts will be prepared for blind review Rating will take place during the third week of may Data analysis will occur in early june

Content & Thesis Organization & coherence Style & mechanics Three compensated Raters Qualified faculty representative of Composition II instructors calibrated to ensure inter-rater reliability Artifact rating over a three-day period
