3. Vocabulary:
Plasma – When atoms have been stripped of their electrons. Occurs under high temperatures and/or high pressures. Nuclear fusion – occurs when two atomic nuclei collide and form a larger nucleus. Nebula – cloudlike regions of gas throughout the milky way. Supernova – massive explosion that breaks apart a star. Temperatures can exceed 1 billion degrees Celsius.
