A total of 716 probes (associated with 671 genes) that were differentially expressed between SF women and the control group are shown. (B) Division of the 671 differentially expressed genes according to Gene Ontology (GO) annotation for cellular processes. The large fraction of unclassified genes was excluded from the chart.

Genes that showed overexpression in senior fertile (SF) cases relative to controls are in bold letters; the rest of the genes were underexpressed in SF relative to controls. Genes shared between the functional categories are colored as follows: genes shared in all three categories are purple; genes shared between apoptosis and ubiquitination are blue; genes shared between the apoptosis and energy production categories are red; genes shared between the ubiquitination and energy production categories are green. An asterisk denotes a reported human aging gene. In brackets is the distinction value, which indicates the difference in expression of the SF and control groups.
