YEAR 7 COMPUTER SCIENCE HOUSE COMPETITION

2. HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
This term, students will be learning all about computer hardware.
They will ‘lift the lid’ and see the insides of a computer. Exploring all of the fundamental components that work together to make a computer run.

3. HOUSE COMPETITION
You will make a model of a laptop using a shoebox as your base.
Lifting the lid will reveal a model of the components that you learn about in class.

4. PRIZE
Lots of epraise points will be up for grabs and we are also looking at getting something special for the very best shoebox computer.

5. DEADLINE
Shoebox computers should be brought into school on Friday 15th December 2017.
The winner will be announced on the last day of term.
