Actual LCD monitor view obtained through the GVL camera that captured a ruler. The tip of the blade was just placed at 0 mm of the graduation on the scale. (a) The small GVL camera shows the graduations from 3 mm and above. Thus, there is a 2 mm width blind area at the top of the screen. (b) The mid-size GVL camera shows graduations beyond 14 mm. Thus, there is a 13 mm width blind area at the top of the screen.
