2 Language Arts – Warm Up 10/18/17
Sequence of Events First turn in your homework, “Simple and Complete Subjects and Predicates” from yesterday. Then, read and complete “Aesop: Put the Events in Order”. If you do not finish today’s warm up/worksheet in class, you must take it home for homework.

3 Language Arts – Work Session 10/18/17
Essential Question: How can I effectively brainstorm a personal incident about change to develop a personal narrative? Standard: ELASE6L1.b – Use intensive pronouns (ex.: myself, ourselves). Learning Targets: Define the concept of change through the reading of a narrative. Apply understanding of narrative elements to reading and writing.

Creating a Narrative – S.B. p. 36 First, read the “Learning Targets” and “The Writing Process” categories. Then, read the question and answer the chart for question #1.

5 Language Arts – Closing Session 10/18/17
Independent Reading You should be on your THIRD book of this school year, at least. Your next Biblionasium book review will be due on Friday, October 27, 2017. (That’s next week!) Be sure that you have completed your book before Friday, October 27, 2017! Homework: “Aesop: Put the Events in Order” worksheet – due tomorrow!
