Imagine you are a reporter. Pretend you work for an ancient Roman newspaper. Write a story in paragraph form about one of Rome’s greatest conquests.
Directions:
Give an account of a recent Roman conquest. Describe the battle.
Describe in detail any plunder or spoils from the victory. What did the Romans take from the conquered people?
