Classroom Routines STEP 1: COME IN QUIETLY AND SIT IN YOUR ASSIGNED SEAT. STEP 2: COPY THE HOMEWORK, AND THEN PUT IT AWAY: What do we do if it’s Monday or the beginning of a new week? (IF IT’S MONDAY, OR THE BEGINNING OF A NEW WEEK, LAST WEEK’S HOMEWORK LOGS WILL BE COLLECTED, AND WE WILL GET A NEW HOMEWORK LOG FOR THE WEEK)

HOMEWORK COLLECTION PROCEDURES FOR MONDAY:
AFTER YOU COPY MONDAY’S WORD, PUT LAST WEEKS HW LOG IN THE MIDDLE O THE TABLE. THE TEACHER OR A MONITOR WILL COME AROUND AND COLLECT ALL HW PILES FROM EACH TABLE.

How to earn points How to lose points Use accountable talk as much as you can when you participate Be at the appropriate voice level Work together in your groups nicely and effectively JUST TRY YOUR BEST AND DO THE WORK! Be at the wrong voice level Not working effectively in your groups Inappropriate class behavior Not even trying to do the work/not asking for help when you need it At the end of the week, each student from the table with the most points wins a prize from the table prize box.
