Faith Tested 1 Peter 1:3-9 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, [5] who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. [6] In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, [7] that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, [8] whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, [9] receiving the end of your faith-the salvation of your souls.

We Live and Walk By Faith
Romans 1:17; 2 Corinthians 5:7 John 8:24 “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.“ Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him

Our Faith Is Often Tested By Fire
1 Peter 1:7 …that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire… James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. Trials test us all (1 Cor. 3:13; Rev. 2:10) 1 Cor 3:13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
