2. The question that is guiding my project is,“Which product will get a mud stain out the best”.

3. The reason I choose this topic is because, I play football and I always kept getting mud stains. So I realized this science fair was an excellent time to see what will get those mud stains out the best: bleach, windex, or vinegar.

4. If I see which product will get the mud stain out the best then, I believe that windex will get the most mud stain to disappear.

5. Independent Variables: The independent variables in my experiment is bleach, vinegar, and windex.
Dependent Variable: The dependent variable in my experiment is the stain size after the products are used and the results are taken.
Constants: The constants in my experiment is the heat of my products while the reaction is happening (room temperature), the starting stain size ( 4 inches), and the type of cloth

6. Procedure 1) Get materials 2) Put products in bowls
3) Add cloth with mud stains
4) Let cloth bathe for 3 days in bowl along with product
5) Check stains daily
6) After time span of 3 days take cloth out of bowl
7) See which piece of cloth has the least stain left
8) Record data

8. Conclusion
I have concluded in my experiment that if you were to test whether or not windex and vinegar could break a mud stain down more than the commonly used bleach, that the bleach would out do the two other solutions. My experiment was a great success do to the amount of information that I recovered, and the fact that this information can be used by me and you in everyday life.
My hypothesis was incorrect since, the bleach completely out worked the other solutions. Including the windex, which, I myself, thought would outwork the the other solutions.
If you were to perform this experiment I would suggest that you use a different material to base the project on, (blue jean, cargo, ect.). Other than that my steps would be perfect unless you want to do it your way, then give it a shot.
