1 Process Working Group Goal: To constructively bring more intention and alignment to our day-to-day operations. *Importance of operating with intention was emphasized during culture work. *Alignment will enable us to work more efficiently and effectively – there are many turns in the road that we could avoid if there is more clarity and certainty around our processes. *Clarity of Process cannot be taken for granted, particularly as we have grown as an organization

3 Steps: #1: Describe current process;
Matrix perspective We will provide an example…. #2: Identify opportunities for improvement in process; Constructive environment (Differences of opinion regarding #1 may hint at #2!) #3: Collaborate to determine how to address opportunities; Broad input WARF’s Values and Culture influential #4: Memorialize agreed upon “effective process”; and Organized intranet access #5: Revisit routinely & update as needed. #1: Will be applying a matrix analysis; don’t worry if team members describe current process differently – these are actually valuable tools to identify kinks in the process. #2: Our working template will help to make this process less personal and more objective. #4: Note that we are not aiming for the BEST process, but the most EFFECTIVE process (for example, it may be best if everyone knew what everyone was doing in the organization, but that would not be an effective way to efficiently achieve our goals). #5: Important to have a department that stewards the process
