Largest Computing School/Department in Scotland. Spans the complete coverage of Computing, including Computer Hardware, Networking, Internet Technologies, Multimedia, Databases, Human Interfaces, E-Commerce, and so on. Large student base from undergraduate to post graduate.

Largest Computing School/Department in Scotland. Spans the complete coverage of Computing, including Computer Hardware, Networking, Internet Technologies, Multimedia, Databases, Human Interfaces, E-Commerce, and so on. Large student base from undergraduate to post graduate. Teaching Company Schemes TCS’s employ a graduate for 24 months, who is paid through the university, but works within the company. Academic support provides expertise, and gives the company access to additional resources. Associate receives formal training in business, such as project planning and presentations. All schemes employ graduates with either 1st Class/ Upper 2nd Class Degrees or an MSc in Computing or relate subject area.

Complete understanding of every element of the design, generation, presentation and delivery of material. Multimedia development skills in Macromedia (Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and so on), Java, and so on, in many different setups.

Currently developing material for a book named Handbook of the Internet which will contain over 1800 pages, and have extensive CD-ROM/WWW material (retail at £250/each).

Conclusions Why Napier?
Access to the largest Computing School/ Department in Scotland. Excellent opportunity to recruit a good MSc or Hons graduate with multimedia production skills. Strong industrial links, with good training support. Strong academic backup, with experience in most areas of multimedia development, and content production. Edinburgh/Skye link is very attractive for a graduate. Excellent networking connection, for video conferencing, WWW support, and so on. Software licences for most commerical packages (Macromedia, Microsoft, Borland, Adobe, and so on).
