4 BR #3: Thursday, Jan. 24 Explain the Opium war, why did it take place, what was the outcome and 3 components of the peace treaty. Describe the relationship between the open door policy and boxer rebellion.

5 BR #4: Friday, Jan. 25 Describe what occurred at the Berlin conference and which land Britain, France and Belgium received. List one negative impact of imperialism on Africa.
