Thank You! As we transition from listening and input gathering to theming and tactic formation for Kirkwood’s next Technology Strategic Plan, Thank You for your Help! And we still need your input! With your help over the past 3 years 5 Themes containing 90 tactics were completed that: improved service levels improved classroom functionality added new ways to connect with students saved money made us more secure and gave us better insight into our information With your help we will continue this momentum.

Process Comprehensive – Students, Faculty, Staff, Admin, K12, Businesses Collaborative and Input Driven – Round tables, surveys, town halls Think Improvement and Think Long term - Skate to where the puck is going to be! Kirkwood’s Plan – To be successful we need input from all areas of Kirkwood and to truly think of it as Kirkwood’s plan for Technology and not IT’s plan for Kirkwood.

6.0 Support and Customer Service - Nate Wolter
(Continuously improve service and support) Identify and implement training for MAC and mobile platform support Develop routines to offer formal technology training and informal hands on experience with a skilled professional Identify and deliver tools that can move additional problem resolution from 2nd and 3rd level support to 1st level Review how we can improve leverage of student work, project based and interns in addition to work study Take metrics and survey information and turn it into continuous improvement Show evidence of collecting survey and metric data and use for improvement and the results Create a collection point repository for metrics and surveys that will archive results and serve to show longitudinal progress

Next Steps April – June Steps:
Review feedback modify as needed Develop next level actions and prioritize into year 1, 2 and 3 Share draft back July 1: Finalize and get to work on year 1 Annually: Share results annually, ask for feedback to see if priorities for the next year are still valid or need to be modified
